The local area
La Caleta de Velez is a quaint, quiet, and unspoilt Spanish fishing
town with good beaches, a marina, and several beachside cafes and
excellent restaurants. You won't find any burger bars here! Also
with nearby bustling Torre del Mar just a few minutes drive away
for more shops, bars, banks and restaurants you get the best of
both worlds.
Malaga city is within a half hour drive for a touch of history,
culture, flamenco bars and excellent shopping. The popular town
of Nerja with its lovely beaches and stylish promenade is just
15 minutes by car further Eastwards along the coast.
